Prologue 50 years ago in Saltburn by the Sea a young man and woman were to be wed on All Hallow’s eve. The Bride waited for the Groom to arrive by boat from his business holdings n the Low countries. He never arrived. His boat was wrecked off the coast near Whitby; all souls aboard lost to a mysterious plague that struck the ship during the crossing. Upon hearing the news the Bride fell into a coma, contracted a fever and died one month after her groom. Every year since, on All Hallow’s Eve, the ghost of the Bride is said to rise from her crypt in the old cemetery and wander about the section of town that has come to be known as Brideswalk. It is said she still waits for her Groom to come to her so they can be wed. Over the years a festival has grown up around the legend. In recent years the Festival of the Bride has become a major attraction to Occultists and Mediums from all over the world. This year things are a little different. A murderer stalks Brideswalk, preying on the prostitutes who ply their trade there. 8 women have been found so far, their throats torn, limbs near ripped from their bodies and drained of every drop of blood they had. Stories of Vampires are running amok all along the coast. To make matters worse it appears some kind of plague or sickness has taken over the town as well. Strange green fires are seen burning at night and some say that they have seen the dead walking again. Dramatis Personae Inspector Legrande - Police Inspector investigating the Brideswalk murder. Setup for the game: Each player had goals based upon his or her characters origin. Most were investing the same things but each one having a different name or supposition of what it was they were looking for. Several large fires were spread out across the town and it was these that were the generation places for the undead shamblers that tried to kill anything they could get to. Other, more elusive and dangerous occult foes wandered the town. The Undead had their own objectives as well. After waiting all this time the Bride 's beloved was coming home. The wedding would take place in the cemetary. All they had to do was find someone to perform the ceremony. Several of the players characters fit the requirements.
